His love bears all things
Must I be stripped to learn how to simply let Him love me?To learn how to simply let him hold me?
To learn that he requires a contrite heart, a broken spirit. And I've spent so much time conjuring up what little strength and perfection I had for Him...all in vein you see.
For all he ever asked for was my full surrender...and though the pruning is painful, His love is sufficient and
His promises are what I cling to.
4 Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; 5
does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; 6 does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; 7 bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things...
does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; 6 does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; 7 bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things...
